Boerne ISD

Pfluger has worked with Boerne ISD on dozens of projects over the past 30 years. Elementary school #8’s design is rooted in the site’s natural beauty and will harmoniously blend into the landscape. Everything from the grade to the preservation of heritage oaks has become part of the 2-story, split-level design. Through the discovery process with the district and the community, plant life, usable outdoor spaces, and a clear front door to the campus are features of the design. The new school will embody connection through its collaboration areas, easily recognizable entrance, and an expansive central core library filled with natural light. The outdoor spaces are flexible and safely connect with the indoors, enriching educational opportunities for students and teachers alike.
