I’m from El Paso, TX, and the youngest of two. My brother is quite a bit older, so I’ve had a nephew in my life since I was a kid—he’s already starting high school now. I’ve been married to my husband for over two years, and together, we run private event bartending and event planning projects, along with other creative ventures for clients—it’s a fun and rewarding way to combine our skills.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in architecture from Texas Tech. I explored a lot of career paths growing up—from teaching to anesthesiology—but architecture stood out because it lets me use both the creative and analytical sides of my brain.
What I enjoy most about my work is the collaboration—solving design challenges as a team and creating schools that will serve students for generations. When I’m not working, I’m usually cooking, at the gym, or building large-scale props for events.
What’s one goal you want to achieve in the next 5 years?
My husband and I want to have our first home purchased and have our 1st of 2 kids.
