I am a dynamic and driven individual known for my passion and dedication in various spheres of life. Born and raised in Pakistan, I developed a deep appreciation for diversity early on. I grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, a major coastal city in the southern part of the country. Fun fact: My dad was a merchant mariner, so I traveled a lot as a child to various countries. I moved to Houston 14 years ago to pursue higher education and be closer to the big extended family.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M in Economics but later decided to pursue accounting as a career. Outside of work I like playing pickleball and experimenting in the kitchen whenever I get a chance. I am currently multitasking as a full-time career woman and a full-time mother, raising two wonderful boys, ages 5 and 1!
What motivates or inspires you to come to work every day?
I get a lot of inspiration from my parents, who worked hard daily to provide for their kids. With their determination, I was the first girl in the family to graduate from an American university. I strongly believe in quality education and a focus on academics. I want both my boys to be well-rounded individuals.
