Lafayette Parish School System

The new Lafayette High School will be rich in career and technical opportunities provided to the students. The existing campus will remain occupied while construction of the new campus is completed on a small 30-acre site with an existing stadium. Parking and traffic are significant concerns and will require complex phasing to complete the project with minimum impact to students and staff.

The Health Academy serves students across the Parish and trains students in careers such as nursing, EMT, pharmacy tech, medical assisting, and therapy. The labs create real-world simulations of the various medical fields, while science labs provide opportunities for advanced medical study. Students will have future college and career opportunities to excel.
