Chad Martin, AIA, LEED AP
Since joining the firm nearly three years ago, Chad has demonstrated leadership and a dedication to excellence in design and documentation. He brings 26 years of experience specializing in education architecture to his role as Senior Project Architect at Pfluger. His expertise reflects a commitment to delivering thoughtful, well-executed solutions that meet the needs of clients and communities, including Midland ISD and Denton ISD.

Hunter Bradshaw
Hunter is integral to the entire lifecycle of Pfluger’s K-12 and higher education projects. His six years of industry experience and strong architectural design expertise contribute significantly to his role as Project Designer. Through his collaborative approach and meticulous attention to detail, Hunter partners with clients to create transformative education projects that have a meaningful impact. He is dedicated to achieving exceptional results by designing spaces that inspire learning and cater to the needs of students and educators.
Kent Brittain, AIA, ALEP
Kent is committed to designing campus environments that promote community engagement and support student development. A Senior Project Architect with 17 years of experience specializing in higher education architecture, Kent has a Master of Architecture degree and a graduate certificate in historic preservation from the University of Texas at San Antonio. His expertise reflects a thoughtful approach to creating spaces that honor tradition while meeting the evolving needs of higher education clients.
William Webb, AIA
William is a Senior Project Architect with 26 years of experience in educational architecture. A member of the American Institute of Architects, he has dedicated his career to shaping inspiring and engaging K-12 learning environments. His extensive knowledge and project experience equip him to guide teams through complex designs that prioritize functionality and foster community impact.
Dr. David Young
As Communications and Engagement Manager, David leverages his expertise in community relations and educational leadership to support district leaders in fostering meaningful dialogue with their communities. He assists in gathering valuable input to inform goals and provides strategic communication guidance to build trust and community support.

Matt Gvist, AIA
Matt is a Senior Project Architect with 24 years of experience specializing in K-12 education design. He excels in leading complex projects, like those with Midland ISD and Orangefield ISD, bringing a strong focus to planning, design development, and construction management. Matt’s expertise ensures each educational project is executed with precision, meeting the highest standards from concept through completion.
Heather Rule
Heather brings 17 years of experience leveraging the built environment to foster connections among people. She excels in managing project teams and integrating sustainable design initiatives into her work. As a Fulbright Research Fellow in Ecuador, Heather studied the gender dynamics in architecture and their impact on marginalized communities, particularly women in the flower industry. Her research illuminated crucial insights into community needs and informed her ability to tailor architectural solutions accordingly. Heather’s commitment to inclusivity and adeptness at integrating community perspectives into the built environment exemplify her dedication to creating spaces that truly serve their inhabitants.
