Pfluger Architects, a premier Texas-based architecture firm with extensive experience in educational facility planning, design, and construction administration, strategically adds global human resources leader Dina Mavridis as Director of People and Culture. She brings over 15 years of experience to this role as a trusted adviser to Pfluger’s leadership, advancing initiatives that inspire, develop, and support people while ensuring operational excellence across the firm’s five Texas locations.
As Pfluger’s Director of People and Culture, Mavridis – a strategic leader and culture champion – is responsible for fostering a vibrant work environment aligned with Pfluger’s core values and purpose to inspire people to create a more meaningful human experience. Additionally, she will lead talent development efforts including training and coaching, support recruitment strategies, promote employee growth and retention, refine performance management processes, and develop and enhance employee recognition programs to reflect Pfluger’s values.
Previously, as global director of human resources at Austin-based Velocity Electronics Corp., she helped grow operations from a single location to over 20 global locations, while creating highly successful compensation and employee engagement strategies. Her expertise in change management, organizational development, succession planning, and employee retention resulted in exponential operational growth and culture development.

A graduate of the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University, Mavridis is an accredited Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Compensation Professional. She also has certifications from Chally Group as a Predictive Assessment Interpreter and from McDonald Group as an Internal Auditor. She is a member of Impact Austin and served as director of Girls Giving Grants for nearly 10 years.
